Puff Pastry pies with Cream and Fruit sauce

Serve upto 12 persons


  • 12 pieces of Sunbulah Puff Pastry Squares
  • 1 whisked egg

Filling Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of custard powder
  • 1/3 cup of cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 pack of fruit sauce for pies or cheese cake


  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Cut out flower shapes or circles from each puff pastry square using a cookie cutter/shaper (2 inches)
  • Place each round/flower-shaped pastry on a baking tray and brush with egg, and then bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  • During this time, mix the milk, custard powder and sugar in a small cooking pot and cook until the mixture holds. Set custard aside to cool.
  • Mix the cream cheese and the cooled custard in a bowl and then insert the mixture into a decorating bag (nip an opening at the tip of the bag if needed)
  • Using a knife cut out round openings withing each pastry and fill with the cream mixture then cover the top with the cut out pastry pieces.
  • Finally, place the pastries on a serving platter and poor fruit sauce over.
