Fish Pastry with Colorful Tuna Stuffing

Puff Pastry pies with Cream and Fruit sauce

Serve upto 6 persons

  • 12 pieces of Sunbulah Puff Pastry squares
  • 1 whisked egg

Tuna Stuffing Ingredients:

  • 1 large can of tuna (drained)
  • ½ cup of bell peppers (various colors) chopped into tiny squares
  • ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of cocktail sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt (or according to preference)

  • Heat an oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Cut out fish shapes from each square of puff pastry by using a knife.
  • Then cut out an oval shape within each fish shape to create borders. Brush the remaining fish shapes with water and then place the fish borders over them and gently press to keep them in place.
  • Place the fish-shaped pastries on a baking tray and brush them with egg, and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
  • During that time, mix together all the filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Remove the baking tray from the oven to fill each pastry with the tuna filling, then return to the oven and bake for 6-7 minutes or until a full golden color and very hot.
