  • Fish and Chicken

    1. Sprinkle lemon zest onto your Sunbulah fish fingers to add a burst of unique and delicious flavor. The lemon will also help minimize the scent of fish on your fingers.


    2. Bake your favorite Sunbulah fish fingers in a toaster oven for healthy and delicious taste.


    3. Do not to re-freeze thawed meat and fish.


    4. Do not mix dairy products with fish.


    5. Ways to prepare ‘tartar’ sauce at home: Mix (1) cup of mayonnaise, with (1) small spoon [teaspoon] of mustard, (2) small spoons [teaspoon] of pickled flavors, and a small spoon [teaspoon] of lemon juice.


    6. You can add ‘Marinara’ sauce to your Chicken fillet dish to give it an Italian twist.


    7. For preparing a healthy dish of breaded Sunbulah Chicken fillet: Pre-heat your oven to 176-177 degrees Celsius, then put the Sunbulah Chicken fillet strips on a cooking tray, and gently rub them with a thin light layer of olive oil or Canola oil and bake for about 8-9 minutes.
  • Vegetables & Fruit

    1. Do you know that Sunbulah's frozen vegetables retain more vitamins and proteins than supermarket fresh vegetables?


    2. Always thaw your frozen Sunbulah peas according to the thawing instructions on the packs.


    3. Avoid freeze-burning your Sunbulah vegetables by zip locking them tightly and resealing your packs before placing them back in the freezer.


    4. Make sure you use all your thawed vegetables and fruits. You should not re-freeze thawed foods.


    5. Make a tasty "pesto sauce" by mixing thawed Sunbulah peas, olive oil, a small clove of garlic, an amount of grated Parmesan cheese and flour. Then mix all the previous ingredients together until you achieve a smooth paste. After that, add a drop of lemon or lime juice for a slightly sour taste.
    6. Keep strawberries at room temperature before serving to retain maximum flavor.
  • Hotdogs

    1. One of the neat processed types of meat that is prepared by various cooking methods; it can be grilled, or fried as toasted, boiled, or baked. All of the recipes would result in a unique dish of delicious and tasty hot dogs.
    2. Sunbulah franks should not be punctured or scored. Doing so will affect the inside of the frank and its delicious juicy taste, leaving you with a bad and dry hot dog.
    3. There is no need to thaw frozen Sunbulah hot dogs before cooking. Simply, remove from the freezer and set in the boiler, grill or oven directly and let them cook for the required period, depending on method of cooking.
    4. Sunbulah hot dogs need to be boiled for a period ranging from 3-5 minutes in pre-heated water and in normal lukewarm water (from 5-10 minutes), until the hot dogs become thick, plump and ready to eat.
    5. Enjoy a crispy outdoor treat or snack by preparing toasted Sunbulah hot dogs in an electric toaster. Simply cover the tray you use in your toaster with aluminum foil. Pre-heat your toaster oven to about 176 -177 degrees Celsius. Then, cut each sunbulah frank in 3 equal evenly spaced diagonal lines (no more than 2.5 mm deep on the inside) and place them in the cooking tray to cook for 7-9 minutes before serving.
    6. Can one cook Sunbulah hot dogs in a microwave? Yes, they can. Just cover each frank of Sunbulah hot dogs with a paper towel and put it in the microwave at HIGH for about 15-20 seconds or until fully cooked.
    7. Sunbulah Hot Dog franks can be served with many tasty toppings, adding fun to any occasion. Sunbulah hot dogs taste great with mustard and/ or ketchup, with steak sauce, hot peppers and cheese. You can also go Mexican by adding guacamole salad and sour creamy sauce.
  • Beef Burger tips

    1. Do not thaw frozen Sunbulah Beef Burger patties. Just toss them directly from the freezer to the fryer or on the grill for best results.
    2. Prepare thick and juicy Sunbulah Beef Burgers by pre-heating your stove to medium or medium-high. Do not raise the stove’s heat to FULL or HIGH, as this may over cook your burger and dry it of its delicious juices.
    3. Cooking Sunbulah Beef burgers in the fryer should take about 15-20 minutes as a maximum by grilling each side per piece for about 3-4 minutes and then occasionally flipping it several times for a minute or until fully cooked.
    4. Set a toothpick in the center of Sunbulah Beef or Lamb Burger to check if it cooked. If the toothpick slips in easily, then your burger is ready, but if you find it hard to slip the pick through the patty, then your burger still needs a few minutes in the fryer or griller. Do not cut through by using a knife or fork; otherwise your burger will lose tenderness.
    5. Avoid the urge of pressing on Sunbulah Beef or Lamb Burger with a spoon while cooking.
  • Pizza Dough

    1. You can thaw frozen Sunbulah pizza dough, but please check the package safety directions before thawing for best results.
    2. You must always pre-heat your oven at a temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius for approximately 2-3 minutes before placing aSunbulah Pizza in for cooking.
    3. Cook your Sunbulah pizza in a specified pizza tray. If you don't have a tray, try using a circular cookie tray, just cover it lightly with flour or with a baking sheet to avoid sticking.
    4. Our Sunbulah pizza dough is ready to be served after 15 minutes of cooking time in the oven. However, as ovens differ, so do cooking results. For best results, always check your Sunbulah pizza after 13 minutes of cooking.
    5. To prevent cheese from dripping from oven heat, wrap aluminum foil over your oven tray or cut a piece slightly larger than the size of your Sunbulah pizza dough before heating the oven and entering your Sunbulah pizza in for cooking.
    6. How do you know when a Sunbulah pizza is ready? (1) The color of the cheese around the edges of the crust should turn to a very light shade of brown. (2) The base of pizza should be firm, crispy and slightly golden (3) All types of cheese on Sunbulah pizza should be melted. (4) The middle of the pizza is hot.
  • Puff Pastry

    1. Thawing is one of the most important steps in baking with Sunbulah pastries. For best results, you must allow your frozen Sunbulah Puff Pastry dough to thaw for approximately 20-30 minutes or as per pack instructions.
    2. Always pre-heat your oven before baking Sunbulah Puff Pastry.
    3. Always use good quality baking pans and sheets. Take into account that darker sheets cook faster.
    4. Sunbulah Puff Pastry will be ready to serve whenever the pastry is golden brown and puffy.
    5. It is not advised to bake the Puff Pastry in a toaster oven or microwave.
  • Samosas

    1. How can you prepare Sunbulah Samosas in perfect triangles? (1) Lightly brush a sheet of Sunbulah samosa pastry with olive oil by using a small cooking brush. (2) Add about a tablespoon of the filling in one of its lower corners, and then fold it into the shape of a triangle so as the edges meet (almost like a napkin). (3) Keep folding Sunbulah Samosa sheets three times to form a small triangle, making sure that all the edges meet. (4) Press on the folded edges gently to ensure that your samosas will not open out whilst frying.
    2. Sunbulah samosa fillings must always be cooked before filling your favorite samosa pastry.
    3. You can prepare perfect minced meat meat fillings for samosa triangles by frying Sunbulah Minced Meat beef or lamb. SImply sauté with minced onions, coriander and a pinch of salt and pepper.
